Slater & Rhyno, Hype Bros qualify for Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match

SmackDown LIVE has officially named two of the five teams that will represent Team Blue against Raw in Nov. 20’s 10-on-10 Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match.
Team Blue Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan announced on Oct. 25 that a series of qualifying matches will be held in the coming weeks to determine which duos join SmackDown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater & Rhyno on the team.
Slater & Rhyno, by virtue of being the champions, were granted a spot on SmackDown LIVE’s 10-Superstar team. Meanwhile, The Hype Bros, Zack Ryder & Mojo Rawley, fought their way into the mix by defeating The Ascension in a qualifying bout.
Which other teams will join the fray, and how will Raw respond as SmackDown LIVE continues building out its ensemble ahead of Survivor Series’ huge inter-brand matches?

Raw’s Cruiserweight division takes center stage this Sunday when Sin Cara, Lince Dorado & Cedric Alexander take on Tony Nese, Drew Gulak & Ariya Daivari on the WWE Hell in a Cell Kickoff.

At WWE No Mercy, WWE World Champion AJ Styles defended his illustrious title against Dean Ambrose and John Cena. Plus, Dolph Ziggler saved his career and captured his fifth Intercontinental Championship against The Miz and Bray Wyatt stole the win away from Randy Orton.

With his opponents leveled, Cena aims to nail both of them with a Five Knuckle Shuffle.





The look of determination on Ambrose's face says it all. Despite the pain, he refuses to tap out.




In a Herculean show of strength, Cena lifts both Styles and Ambrose atop his mighty shoulders.





Cena locks in the STF while Ambrose employs the Calf Crusher as Styles endures the excruciating pain.

Styles eventually taps out, but the referee appears confused as to who to credit for the win.



In an unbelievable turn of events, the restart allows Styles an edge as he clobbers Cena with a steel chair to retain.
