Slater & Rhyno, Hype Bros qualify for Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match
SmackDown LIVE has officially named two of the five teams that will represent Team Blue against Raw in Nov. 20’s 10-on-10 Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match.
Team Blue Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan announced on Oct. 25 that a series of qualifying matches will be held in the coming weeks to determine which duos join SmackDown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater & Rhyno on the team.
Slater & Rhyno, by virtue of being the champions, were granted a spot on SmackDown LIVE’s 10-Superstar team. Meanwhile, The Hype Bros, Zack Ryder & Mojo Rawley, fought their way into the mix by defeating The Ascension in a qualifying bout.
Which other teams will join the fray, and how will Raw respond as SmackDown LIVE continues building out its ensemble ahead of Survivor Series’ huge inter-brand matches?
Watch what happens when SmackDown LIVE and Raw go head-to-head at WWE’s fall classic. Survivor Series airs live on the award-winning WWE Network Sunday, Nov. 20, at 7 ET/4 PT.
